What l did: Wallked around Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew.
What l learned:
the place where you choose to stand is as important as what you want to capture
What l did: went for a walk along a local canal and then post-processed some shots with an evaluation copy of hdr software.
What l learned: hdr shots look stunning, but also look artificial. A usefull
too for specific contexts
What l did: Casual snaps of my mothers cat.
What l learned: working with animals is a gamble as they are hard to predict. Take lots of pictures and you may catch a lucky moment. Or not.
What l did: I wanted to record my father and grandparents(maternal) graves along with gps coords fo future generations
What l learned: Pictures without context do not always stand on their own.
What l did: coming home from a day out I thoug I would try and get a wide picture of a train at my local station for a facebook page
What l learned:
composition takes time but is worth it. At the same moment a plane came Into land at a nearby airbase.
In 2012 into early 2013 I suffered with pancreatitis from gall stones. For around 7 months I rarely left the house except to visit hospital A&E. Now that I am recovered I bought a camera and am using this new hobby as a driver to get fresh air and explore.
